Every year a different department of CliniSys | MIPS organizes the teambuilding day. This year it was the turn of the Management team. Two hundred out of the about three hundred employees signed up completely voluntarily: that's what we call a success!

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest NHS organisations in the country based in Greater Manchester, is working with CliniSys to deploy a single, laboratory information system across its pathology services to improve clinical practice and patient care. New LIMS system will help the Trust and partners deliver around 30 million tests a year for a population of 1.2 million people.

CliniSys was thrilled to once again invite our LIMS and ICE customers to the CliniSys National Conference and User Group which was held at The Belfry, West Midlands. The two-day programme consisted of educational conference sessions, exhibition, training and company updates. Even with the rail strike, we saw over 300 delegates attend over the two days.

The labor shortages still sweeping the US and other parts of the world extend to the laboratory space as well. The laboratory industry was already short on qualified people to fill the key roles. The pathology service at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) in Harlow has introduced the CliniSys Integrated Clinical Environment (ICE) sample collection module to improve efficiency and experiences for their patients and staff.
