CliniSys will replace the seven IT systems used by Northern Ireland’s hospital trusts’ pathology disciplines and the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion service with a single instance of WinPath Enterprise. As part of the pandemic management in France, detecting and tracing Covid-19 cases is critical for a successful recovery from the crisis and the protection of the French people. This is the purpose of the national SI-DEP (Système d’Informations de DEPistage) project implemented by the French Ministry of Health and Solidarity, which selected and commissioned CliniSys | MIPS, in partnership with the AP-HP hospital group, for this task. The CyberLab electronic order entry and result consultation system is at the heart of SI-DEP’s IT platform.

QE Gateshead has been using ICE OpenNet since 2008 and connects nine northern trusts including Gateshead, Newcastle, Northumbria, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham, North Cumbria, North Tees and South Tees. Today, ICE OpenNet enables web connectivity to multiple diverse systems, giving clinicians seamless access to a consolidated view of patients’ diagnostic test results from all organisations.

Black Country Pathology Services has worked with CliniSys to create the ICE Portal, a web-based application that makes it easy for care homes, or other community care settings, to be able to order lab based Covid-19 tests and see the results.
